I did the same with a doily over the weekend. It’s a fair entry for this coming Friday and 4th row from the end the pattern was incomprehensible. It was a pamphlet from the 1940’s so I couldn’t even check elsewhere. Happy with the new doily, though, but frogging is not my favorite thing.
I ended up scrapping mine and started over..I got frustrated..So far it is getting better..Good luck at the fair!!!
