This the mystery project I am working in for my brother…
I have been quilting the tops of this project…next is to add the inside part…alot of fluff.. and foam….sew it together and add pockets
This project has been a pain in the butt…..I am trying to get it done and out of my site…
My brother continues to pester me about the project……
Kyle found his way to the sewing machine….
He wants to be fed….He doesn’t eat his dinner until 4:00pm….He does have dry food…
This is a current picture of my half double crochet blanket…one of my many projects…I am currently on my third skein of Black Pepper Twist…I bought two more skeins of it…on sale….
Of course while I was trying to work on my blanket….someone had to lay on the blanket…
As I was trying to write in my blog…..
Kyle decides that he had to sit on the computer as I was trying type….
I took him off many times and he kept climbing back up….
It’s not like he didn’t eat….
He wants me to hold him and carry he around….
You notice the look he was giving me….
If you are wondering why there are two machines out on the desk…
The reason is the Singer can wind the bobbin quicker…and I needed a couple of them done….
At first…. I wasn’t sure on which quilt to work on…..As you can see…Miss Chole was taking a nap…..
After I fed the cats….Kyle decides that he wants to join in on the fun….
I tried to take him over to the window…but he didn’t like that idea…..
He sat on the dresser instead….
Monday was my lazy day….
It was rainy and gloomy….
I pretty much binged watch TV….
Plus, I crocheted pretty much of the day…
Good thing , I bought a extra skein of Black Pepper Twist….Sweet Roll…because I ran out of it half way down a row….
My youngest was sitting next to me trying to keep her legs warm…. She pretty much was by my side the whole time…
I had a very trying day at work…
I had gotten yelled at by a customer…
Oldest daughter crying over a broken heart….
I can’t even sew…because I am so stressed out…
I decided to crochet….
Trying to take my frustration on something constructive…
Here is my cat ,Chole…..for a couple of weeks she was mad at me…
She refused to come in my room…..Until Sunday…
She will lay in her box and look out the window at the birds….
Now, Kyle is a different subject…
Kyle would find me no matter where I am ….
He knows when I am sewing…..
He refuses to leave unless I get up and move away from the room, or someone picks him up…
It has been very tiring for the past couple of days..
I have been covering shifts at work….very long hours ,I must say..
I have been trying to take pictures with my camera of my projects…
I will try to have them posted sometime this weekend…
I even have pictures of my cats trying to help..
So for the little rant…but….
My dear husband made dinner,went swimming, and cleaned the dog pen…acting like he is so tired….while our 10 year old daughter is wide awake… Guess who has to make sure she goes to sleep….not him…me …. guess who is the tired one and still goes to work..
As you can see …The jacket is getting there…..
In this set of pictures…I was sewing the sleeves to the arm holes…..
It was a big pain in the butt….
The fabric kept on slipping and sliding…..
I managed to get it done….
I am now working on putting the lining together….
Next is to finish ….sewing velcro and buttons to the fabric…..maybe shoulder pads…
My son is really enjoying this project and wants to make more….I might change up the pattern a little…and not use the chest piece….
Hopefully , a different pattern……
No matter what project I am doing …there is always a cat around me….
Kyle knows when I am going to use the sewing machine….
Chole ,Bitsy, and Shadow knows when I am working on something……
I am still continue to work on my many projects…….
I finally have two days off…..
