I finally got the hang of it …
It actually looks like a ripple stitch….
I didn’t give up…
I am so proud of myself…

Yarn Ball Holder
Happy Memorial Day ,Everyone !!!
I came up with another idea…
I took a container that is used to have pretzel sticks in it …
I turned it into a yarn ball holder…
That way animals can not get into the yarn, and the yarn won’t get dirty laying around the house…
So far, I have at least 8 balls of yarn in it…

So…
I took a shoe box…separated sections of it
Put holes in the front of it..added straws in the holes…
I pulled the yarn through the holes….
Now ,I can use each color separately…and no tangles
Sunday
Today is Sunday….
Enjoying the day outside on the deck ,before spending time with my family……
I have to water my plants and feed the pets…
I need to drink my coffee…it is calling me to drink it…
Starting Over
Last night ,I had to start the ripple stitch all over again…
I was more zigging than zagging…..
It was shaped so weird..
I am not discouraged at all….
I have to concentrate on the stitch more….
I will achieve my goal to get this stitch right….
I will post an update of my progress…..

My Other Idea
This is my other idea that I came up with….
It is a yarn holder….
It can hold up to three balls of yarn…
I poked holes in the lid…and stuck straws in the holes..so the yarn doesn’t tangle,plus it separates the yarn….
It is still a work in progress…

Today was a long day for me….
Today was my youngest daughter’s field trip to the zoo…
I had a fun day with her and her classmates….
I was going to blog last night but I was crocheting until I fell asleep on the sofa….
It is getting there…slowly but surely…
I am so relaxed that I forget about the time…..I don’t know how I still have the energy….

This is my progress of the ripple stitch….
Right now,I am on the third row…
My hands are starting to hurt….
I am trying to take breaks between rows…
My cat ,Candy …She is 14 years old…
She tried to get my yarn…..It never fails that one of the cat’s will attack my yarn….
Let me know what you think of my progress….
Taking a Break

I took a break from quilting to work on my crocheting….
Since the yarn gets tangled …I put a straw on the loose end of the yarn so it won’t get tangled up….
Then I found a a baby wipe container and put the yarn in there to help with tangles and from the cats….four cats and two dogs…and ten fish….

This is Axle….
He is a Golden Lab …..
His father was a Golden Retriever and his mother was a white Labrador…
He is a big a baby….and thinks that he is lap dog….
He is over 88lbs….he whines in the car and tries to get in the front seat…
Does not like raw carrots….but loves peanut butter…
He loves to play with his squeaky toys and his rope…
He helps me when I am stressed or sad…
