I notice deer in the distance …
Let me remind you that the Florida room faces the golf course…
The eight hole is pretty much towards the back yard….
I enjoy seeing nature and wildlife…

Today ..it’s a snow day….Nor’easter number #4
My boss called us not to come in today….
It was a State of Emergency in New Jersey….
It is beautiful to look at and it is peaceful….
I am glad that I am not driving in this mess…
I am sewing today….
I might do some crocheting as well….
It depends on my mood later…..
Denim and Flannel
I decided the other day…
That I wanted to use my old jeans and flannel squares…
I am obessed with it….
I love the way it feels and looks….
As you can see the Chole had to inspect my work to see if it was okay……
I might need to get more denim and flannel pieces to finish this ….
Of course , this is going to be a quilt when it is done….
Bowl Cozies
I know it has been a while since I posted last….
My depression got to me again…..I stopped sewing for a while….
My oldest daughter’s father tried to OD not once,but twice…He is getting better slowly…
I decided to make bowl cozies….
It kept popping in my head….
They are pretty easy to make…..
I did not make them with cotton thread….they can not go in the mircowave….and am I making more….
Another WIP
I started another WIP…granny square
Am I crazy?Don’t answer that…lol
I haven’t felt like sewing…which is nuts…
I lost my sewing groove again….I don’t know how it will last…I want sew…but I feel that I am not as talented as the others…my quilting isn’t the best…It is probably depression hitting me again…
Plastic bag holder
For the past couple of days…I haven’t been feeling so hot…Yesterday,I decided to make a plastic bag holder..So,today I am making another one,for the laundry room…I might work on some crocheting… I have some homework to get done too….
Blah day
It was a blah day for me…I didn’t sew today..at least not yet…I did crochet some rows….learning new stitches… I may not have a yarn bowl….but I like this idea….
Snowy cold days…very windy….I can’t wait until spring…..
Resolution
My New Year’s resolution…. to finish all of my unfinished projects by next year…I am laughing about that one… I have at least three project ideas in my head now… I have at least three unfinished crochet projects… and two unfinished quilting projects…and one mystery project to finish…

I just started on the backing for my king size quilt…I know that I am going to need a lot …
You should have seen me trying to make the squares….As you can see….Chole …thought of another plan….I did manage to cut squares …while she was sleeping…
King size jellyroll quilt
It took me about a year…I finished my quilt top for my jelly roll king sized quilt….Now,it’s time for the backing…. That might take another year …who knows? I do plan to finish my other projects in the new year…
