I wanted to post how the quilt was going..
I am making progress..
As you can tell it is very long..
I had to work at the kitchen table..
It’s going to be a king size quilt..

Finished Table Runner
I finally finished my St.Patrick’s Day table runner…
It took a couple of days..
I like the quilted look..
I used the Brother machine…
I think I made a good choice with the fabric..
Time to work on the jelly roll…
St.Patrick’s Day
I want to write before I got ready for work..
I took a break from the jelly roll quilt…
I don’t know how long it’s going to take to finish the quilt…
I was working on a table runner for St.Patrick’s Day…its almost done..
I just have to finish quilting it and put the binding on it
Jelly roll update
After staying up until 1:30 this morning…
I made some progress…
It is going to be a king size jelly roll quilt..
I really like how it is coming together…
I also got other projects that I have to do…
A lot of future posts to come…

Jelly Roll
I have a new obsession..
Jelly rolls…I had bought some blues..
Then..I thought about maybe.. it seems too busy…
Then I bought some green ,white and gray…
This what it looks so far…
The best is yet to come…
No sew tie blanket
I made an adult size no sew tie blanket…
It was very easy to make…
I did take a break to make my family dinner and clean up…
I noticed that hands were cramping up..
It came out nice…
Whacky Wednesday
Last night I was up until almost two in the morning…
I was making my first no sew tutu…
It was for my youngest daughter.. for Dr.Seuss Day…
I used 6 yards of light blue and scrapes of other blues..
Plus made an appliqué of Dr.Seuss on a Tee shirt..
The smile on my little girl’s face was worth it’s weight in gold!!!
Learning to tie
After I made some scarves..
I had some left over fleece..
I am self teaching myself how to tie blankets..
I am making small versions for the cats..
I did a square knot first… that was easy..but it was too gathered…
Now..I am doing looping knots..a little harder..because of my fat fingers.. and it is laying nicely…
Those who tie blankets do you prefer square or looping?
Shopping
The past couple of days ..
I have been shopping…
I wanted to treat myself..
I got some patterns on sale..
Which I am planning to make down the road…future posts..
I got a new cutting mat..
A no sew blanket kit to try out…I want to what the hype is all about…another future post..
My quilting squares for my quilting..
Planning to get some jelly rolls today..
Finally Finished Wreath
Here it is…
I finally finished the Cowboys wreath…
It took 4 yards of fabric to finish it…
Plus, waiting for the money to get the fabric…
I didn’t like to leave it half way done….
It bothered me that it took me almost two months to finish it…
I am happy that I am finally done with it …
Now to finish my other projects…
